2022 Impact Report
In 2022, Growing Home impacted the lives of 2,272 families, comprised of 9,568 individuals, through essential food, housing, parenting education, and lifelong stability support.
Served 2,047 households during 8,206 visits.
Distributed 421,156 pounds of food, 65,570 diapers, and 12,976 hygiene products.
Harvested 2,990 pounds of fresh produce – roughly 1.5 times the amount harvested in 2021.
70 community members contributed over 1,300 hours of work to cultivate the community garden and to prepare produce for re-distribution through the food pantry.
Facilitated ongoing community-led campaign to increase participant access to high quality, culturally relevant, affordable food in south Westminster.
Led 49 hours of trainings, committee meetings, and an action-driven food justice retreat.

COMMUNITY TRAININGS
Hosted 27 hours of trainings where content was derived from community feedback. Topics included anti-oppression, trauma-informed communication, nonprofit structure, digital literacy, and online fundraising.
Formally launched Community Voice for Action, a community organizing and education program, empowering community members to advance their rights and interests.
246 volunteers provided 6,241 hours to support Growing Home’s mission.
Partnered with over 40 organizations in an integrated effort to respond to community need.
