In 1998, Kathleen Drozda, a career nurse who had specialized in neurology, neurosurgery, and trauma services, encountered a woman in need who was living in her car. This event shifted her focus to prevention and community outreach. Had she not made this decision, Growing Home might not exist today.<\/p>\n<\/div>
