As we step into the New Year, Growing Home is excited to announce some updates to our Food Pantry services. These changes are designed to improve access, streamline operations, and better meet the needs of our community. 

Starting January 7th, here’s what you can expect: 

• Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
• Thursday: 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM
• Note: The Thursday morning shift (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM) will no longer be available.

We’re expanding our daily service slots! Starting in January, we’ll serve up to 45 participants per shift (an increase from 40).

• Participants aged 60 and over will now have priority service on Fridays. Seniors will skip the line and be first to receive buzzers.
• Seniors are welcome any day of the week but can enjoy reduced wait times on Fridays.
• A new Growing Home ID card will be issued to seniors for access to Senior Fridays.

• Unhoused participants (those without a physical address) will no longer need to wait in line for service.
• To-go bags will be available for pickup once per week.

These changes are part of our ongoing commitment to advancing equity in food access and creating a more dignified and efficient experience for all participants.
