Growing Home’s top needs center around keeping the Food Pantry stocked with healthy, nutritious food. The best opportunities for dropping off donations are on:

We accept donations at the Growing Home office between the hours:

  • Monday from: 8:30am to 2:00pm
  • Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30am to 9:30am
  • Thursday from: 8:30am to 9:30am or 12:30pm to 2:30pm
  • Friday from 8:30am to 9:30am
  • Saturday from 8:30am – 9:30am

Donations cannot be accepted during the 10:00am to 12:00pm service (Tuesday through Saturday) due to the fact that we are assisting our participants.

  • Ready to Host a Food Drive?Follow the steps below to get started supporting your community.

    Step 1: Make a plan

    • Think of community members interested in donating the food items on our list (neighbors, school, church, etc.) and let them know about your food donation plan to get them aboard.

    Step 2: Promote your drive! -After printing our flyer, you can share it on your social media, or by providing the printed flyer to your group.

    Step 3: Register your drive using this form.  (Please make sure to only register your donation once, unless you plan to do more than one dropoff)

    • All donation dropoffs for this food drive need to be registered for a staff member to receive them, weigh them and provide an in-kind donation receipt if needed. You can also scan the QR code of the flyer to register your donation.

While we greatly appreciate your generous donations, Growing Home is not able to accept the following items:

  • Child/infant car seats

  • Used mattresses of any size, including crib mattresses

  • Clothing

  • Furniture

  • Household items
